Music Program 

We have a variety of opportunities to participate in the leadership of worship at St. Matthew's. One of these opportunities is participating in our music ministry. We have a variety of choirs you can participate in; if interested, please do not hesitate to speak to Rory McCorkle, Music Director.

This year, we have a particular need for Adult Choir members, especially Sopranos and Basses, as well as individuals to participate in the Handbell Choir.

Children's Choir rehearses every Sunday from 11:00 to 11:30 am in the Choir Room. Children  enrolled in the Kairos program, ages 5 - 12, are welcome to join. The children's  choir sings approximately once a month in church.

Adult Choir rehearses every Wednesday from 8:00 to 9:30 pm in the church sanctuary. The  adult choir sings every Sunday during the choir year (September to June) and  sings music ranging from early classical to modern contemporary sacred  music.

The St. Matthew's Ringers rehearse every Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 pm in Classroom A. Children from Grade 5 through adults are welcome to join. This handbell choir plays  approximately four to five times during the choir year (September to June).
