-- LENT 2010 AT ST. MATTHEW'S --
"Remember that you are dust,
and to dust you shall return."
Lent, like Advent, is traditionally a season of preparation. Not only are we given these weeks to prepare ourselves for the events of Holy Week and
Easter, but we are given this time to prepare our minds and hearts for repentance – the turning away from all that hinders us toward the God who offers us forgiveness. more
-- ASH WEDNESDAY SCHEDULE --
We begin the observance of Lent this year acknowledging our mortality and penitence on Ash Wednesday (February 17th) with four services of
Holy Eucharist, each with the Imposition of Ashes, at 7:00 am, at 10 am, a children's service at 4:30 pm and again at 8 pm

There will be a red wagon in the Narthex to collect non-perishable food items for the Crisis Ministry of Princeton and Trenton. On the first Sunday of
each month, these items will be presented during the Offertory along with the bread and wine as part of our sacred act of thanksgiving to God. Wondering what kinds of food to give? Lists are
